| Durandal is the name of the sword that Roland carried while serving with Charlemagne. It was originally wielded by Hector of Troy, and was supposedly forged by Vulcan. In the end he threw the sword into a poisoned stream, as it was unbreakable. This sword measures 42 inches overall with a 33.5 inch blade. The blade has a false edge with 440 Stainless Steel polished mirror finish. Sword is complete with a hardwood display plaque. |
