These Katanas are economical in every sense but still fully functional and sharp. The blades were created using carbon monosteel that was hammered out evenly for a consistent hardness throughout the blade. The sword is hand honed sharpened and can be disassembled. Awesome looking display sword that can be used as a light duty cutter at an unbelievable price.
World War II Japanese Officers Sword. This katana measures 40" inches overall with saya and 38" inches without. The blade is made from high carbon steel measuring 27" inches with a sharp beveled edge. The handle measures 10.25" inches with alloy fittings, faux rayskin in a beige cord wrap. Although the sword is ornate it can be used as a light duty cutter. Comes complete with a sword bag to keep it dust free. |
